Silver Lake
Silver Lake is a residential and commercial neighborhood built around a city reservoir. Located in the eastern edge of Central Los Angeles, Silver Lake has made its name known as Los Angeles’s “hippest neighborhood” in the past couple years. Since the 1990s Silver Lake has become the center of the indie rock scene, notable with the addition of Silver Lake Jubilee, featuring performances by local musicians and artists. Walking through Silver Lake, you’ll cruise by hip bars and clubs, restaurants, and vintage antique stores.
